Galen Haas’s design philosophy is grounded in a coastal, whimsical aesthetic with hints of collected antique pieces from around the world. Nature, art, travel and history play an instrumental role in her interior inspiration. Her approach to design highlights each clients’ unique lifestyle, taste, and interests, and integrates their personalities into the architecture and the bones of their home.

Galen is a graduate of Georgetown University and Parsons School of Design. She previously worked for prestigious interior firms in New York, and as Head Interior Designer for an award winning RI architecture firm before opening her own practice in 2021. She lives in Newport with her husband, daughter, and black lab named Moose.

Rather than terminating this handmade tile at the shower jambs, we chose to have it flow into the rest of this guest bathroom for a seamless and calming aesthetic.
